Terms of Service
Last updated June 2026
By using Lictor you agree to these terms. They are written plainly on purpose.
What Lictor is
Lictor is not a law firm, is not a substitute for a lawyer, and does not provide legal advice, representation, or opinions.
Lictor is a tool that helps you draft and deliver a demand letter and then track whether the recipient responds. That is the whole service.
What you agree to
You will give accurate information, use Lictor only for lawful purposes, and not send letters that are harassing, threatening, or knowingly false.
You are responsible for the contents of every letter you send and for deciding whether sending it is the right move for your situation.
Payment
You pay a single flat fee per letter for the delivery package you choose. There is no subscription. Fees for a package are due before that letter is sent.
No guarantee of outcome
We do not promise that a recipient will respond, pay, or comply. We cannot guarantee delivery by third-party email or postal carriers, and we are not liable for their failures or delays.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Lictor's liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the letter at issue.
